  Popeyes ::: Popeye's Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  • 1 lb (500 g) Canadian Ground Turkey
  • 1cup (250 mL) chopped fresh Spinach
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) light Mayonnaise
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) Pepper


Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 4 large patties. Place patties on oiled grill.
  2. Grill over medium-high heat 4-6 minutes on each side, until a digital thermometer inserted in the centre of the burger reads a temperature of 74C (165F).
  3. Serve with Mozzarella cheese and red pepper slices, if desired.
