Ingredients- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 whole bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Preparation- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil. Lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it. Makes enough for 2 pizzas.
