Ingredient
  • 1 kg of flour
  • 500 g of butter
  • 20 g of salt
  • 30 g of de yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 800 g of water

Directions
  1. First, place all the flour, salt, yeast, eggs, and water in a bowl and mix well. Then place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the dough to settle.
  2. Remove, spread the dough open, and place some butter on the inside. Roll and again refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Repeat the same procedure twice and always refrigerate each time. Cut the dough in triangles and roll each one in the form of croissants.
  3. Put aside for about 15 minutes to allow time for the dough to rise. Finally, place the croissants in the oven at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.
  4. Using the same recipe, you can make delicious chocolate or almond croissants. Simply add the desired ingredient to the mixture and there you have it, a terrific idea! You will give a tasty variety to your home-style croissants.
Comments

Croissants are always a welcomed breakfast delight, whether they are made with chocolate, almonds, or simply nature, especially if they are still warm from the oven.
Chez Casa Corfu, they are always fresh and delicious!
