Source : Cabane à sucre Leclerc

Ingredient
  • 3 cups of soup peas
  • Cold water
  • 1 to 3 slices of minced bacon
  • 125 ml of diced onions
  • 750 ml of water
  • 4 tsp of salted herbs
  • 250 ml of diced carrots
  • Salt, pepper and sugar (to taste)


Direction
  1. Wash the peas and soak in water for about 12 hours. Melt the bacon on low heat.
  2. Empty the diced onions in the bacon fat and baste with water. Add the peas, herbs, and carrots. Season and simmer for 3 hours.
