  • 1/2 C granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 C all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) (**I put in a little less than 1/2 tsp.**)
  • 3 C Quaker Oates (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 C rasins (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)

Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and rasins (or chips); mix well
  2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack (**don't forget this step or the cookie will totally fall apart on you**)
