La Trattoria ::: Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter*
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) 35% cream
  • 3/4 cup (180 mL) grated fresh Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In a pan, melt butter in cream. Scald and remove from heat. Add cheese and return pan to heat. Simmer, stirring constantly until cheese melts and the sauce thickens. Season to taste.
