Source : La Trattoria
Ingredients- 430 mL (1 3/4)cups tinned crushed tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 5 mL (1 tsp.) fennel seed
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) chopped fresh thyme, basil, oregano
- 1 pinch sugar
- ½ cup (125 mL) minced pitted black olives
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) anchovy paste
- 8 dried tomatoes in oil, drained on paper towels and chopped
- Juice and minced zest of ½ lemon
- 1 hot pepper, minced
- ½ red pepper, peeled and minced
Instructions- Mix all ingredients togetherm Cooking: 15 min and let stand at least 30 minutes
