Ingredient
  • 2 complete pork loins, uncut
  • 1 cup of unsweetened apple puree
  • 1/2 cup of Heinz ketchup
  • 1-1/2 cups of brown sugar
  • 2 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of pepper
  • 1 tsp of Paprika
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon


Direction
  1. Boil the spare ribs for 30 to 60 minutes to remove the fat
  2. Mix the above ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover the ribs with the sauce. You can let them marinate for a few hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Cook in the oven at 300°F, (60 minutes on each side). Brush / paste a few times, 3 or 4 coatings at a time.

Comment: FANTISTIC!!!! SUCCULENT!!! I also let them boil for 45 minutes to 1 hour and cook them at 275 F for 3 to 4 hours when I have the time? It comes apart by itself ? A MUST!!!
Comment: I have been making this recipe for a long time. My favorite is boiling the ribs 1 hour ahead of time and simmering the sauce for 5 minutes before pasting the ribs. Delicious!!! The taste is identical to Bar-B-Barn mmmmmmmmmmmm.
