  Auberge Hatley ::: Basil Strawberry Tart

Ingredient
  • 300 g of fresh strawberries
  • 150 ml of water
  • 100 g of icing sugar
  • 45 ml of lemon juice
  • 45 ml of finely chopped basil leaves


Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the top crown, and place in a blender. Add water, lemon juice, and the basil leaves. Blend for 1 minute. Pour in a casserole and wait a few minutes to enhance the flavours. Remove and cool.
  2. If desired, add a few basil leaves and small strawberry slices or quarters.

Very refreshing! I suggest that you serve them with pancakes at breakfast.
